Very awesome place. Everything was perfect. They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite from the 1 bedroom suite that we had booked. Gave us some extra room which was very nice.

We really needed a couple days away. We just moved from Toronto a few months ago and all we have been doing is working. I booked it online and I am always stressed if we picked the right place. We live in St Albert Alberta about 3,5 hours away. We showed up at dark and the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Even a cute dog was in the lobby. We rented a 2 story 2 bedroom with a balcony and kitchen. It was clean, organized and very spacious. They had a great big outdoor Jacuzzi, it was so relaxing. Guests were normal and seemed happy. Very close to the highway to go to Banff or Lake Louise. I would definitely come back. The immediate Mountain view in several directions was amazing

  • "Always a great time at Copperstone!"

    5 of 5 stars
We always love coming to Copperstone, as the resort is really nice, comfortable and perfectly set in the mountains! Being 5 min away from Canmore makes it easy to get to, but also gives you a sense of quiet and relaxation. Rooms are clean and nice, especially the 2 bedroom suites, which give you the bedrooms on a SECOND level, to give the kids privacy while they sleep, while the adults hang out on the main level. They are the only Clique hotel that is pet friendly, and when we brought our dog, they had a PERSONALIZED pet treat for her! Awesome! We'll definitely come again!

  • "Great stay to get away from the crowds"

    5 of 5 stars
This was a fantastic trip. Large condo type rooms with a good size kitchen. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Not much for nearby amenities but canmore is a short drive away. This was a perfect stay for our hiking adventures in kannanaskis. The best part was the fun and helpful staff. The only negative thing is there is no cell reception and the free WiFi was pretty terrible (disconnected very frequently and dial up speeds when it did connect).

We have stayed here a couple times now and have nothing but good things to say about Copperstone, from the rooms to the customer service. It really is a hidden gem and we highly recommend it to anybody travelling along the Trans-Canada highway or staying in that area. Oh, and if you have a dog, you even get a custom-made cookie with his/her name on it. Nice touch, but great place in general.

  • "Stayed dozens of times at Copperstone!"

    5 of 5 stars
Our family has stayed at Copperstone well over a dozen times, sometimes for 2-3 weeks each. Love being so close to the mountains and to Canmore but still have some distance which makes it quieter. We always ask to stay in the 4000s on the outer rooms because the view is amazing in the winter with the sunrise on the mountain peaks. :)

We had a fantastic and relaxing one night getaway at Copperstone Resort. It was clean, quiet, and everyone we crossed paths with was so friendly and looking to assist us in any way possible. We really enjoyed having the amenities of Canmore so close at hand (a mere 10 min. drive away) without being in the hard of all the bustle of the town.

My wife and I (and our dog moo moo!) enjoyed our two-day stay at Copperstone Resort. It was tucked away in Dead Man's flats with only a 5 minute drive into downtown Canmore. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with pets looking for a great mountain get-away!

We were looking for somewhere just to kick back for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. We couldn't have been more pleased. Beautifully maintained resort, in amd out. Exceptionally clean! Much to our delight we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a mountain view. The kitchen was fully equipped and well stocked with coffee, tea and sugar for the weekend. The young lady at the front desk, Mel, was professional, pleasant and very informative. Also I must give a shout out to Anne Marie that booked the room for me. I would highly recommend Copperstone. If youre looking for a quiet, home away from home getaway its definitely the place to be! Will defintely be back!!!

  • "Great place!"

I stayed here for the first time over a long weekend because the hotels I was looking at in Canmore got booked up. Well boy was I glad to have stayed here instead. This place is amazing. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was perfect for my husband, 3 year old, and I. It was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen cooking gadgets, utensils, etc...dishwashing soap, sponge, and dishwashing tablets. The laundry even had a box of Tide for doing your laundry. The underground parking and DVD and games library is also a great bonus! It had really beautiful views of the mountains and it was just so peaceful - wish we could've stayed longer. If it were warmer, the private patio would've been amazing to hang out at. This place also has an outdoor hot tub that looked amazing - didn't get a chance to use it but it's a great amenity to have! Definitely a place I could come back to many times. One note: the fold out sofa bed is quite uncomfortable - the mattress is very thin and you can feel the springs. It was uneven and sank in the middle. While it was fine for my 3 year old - I think adults might find it quite uncomfortable.

  • "Best place to stay near Canmore"

We stay at the Copperstone between 3 and 5 times a year - and love to come here. We use their smaller condos for romantic getaways in the mountains, and use the larger units for family get-togethers in both the winter and in the summer. We love the Copperstone because we enjoy having the convenience of the kitchen for cooking. The units are always spotless and, if something is missing or if we have any questions, the staff is always there to help. One time we had a dvd player that wasn't working, and phoned the front desk about it. Within 10 minutes, they had brought a new one and set it up for us in the room. The beds are also super comfortable! We prefer to stay at the Copperstone because we like being close to Canmore rather than Banff - we prefer the restaurants and grocery options there. All in all, it's a great place to stay if you like condo-style accomodation, and great value!

  • "Exactly what we needed and more than we hoped for"

We stayed at Copperstone at the end of October, so in the low season. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the one-bedroom suite, which was almost as big as my house. It had everything we needed...full kitchen with all the dishware, pots, appliances and cutlery we needed. Spacious layout, with the fireplace as the focal point...although it did compete with the view of the mountains out the floor to ceiling window in the living room. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. We took advantage of the hot tub every night. It was a bit too cool to BBQ or to sit out on the unit's deck. We didn't need the in suite washer and dryer as we only stayed a few nights, but that would sure be a bonus with a longer stay. We also didn't get a chance to shoot some pool or use the gym, or take advantage of the board games and dvds they have for guests to borrow. The location is very convenient to Canmore and Banff. Loved the Mad Dog Cafe in town, too. Completely fabulous!
